We started at the playground. Wow! I couldn’t believe how big all the children had gotten! What a difference one year made. In no time, our team was engaged with the children.
The most memorable moments were:
Seeing Josiah, the little boy who has stolen my heart in previous trips.

· Hayden pinching everyone in the stomach then hugging Solomon.
· Josh finding Benjamin underneath the trampoline by chance. Benjamin asked Josh “ni lai zhao wo ma? (Did you come to find me?)”
· Cody crying hysterically because Lucas had stolen Solomon from him.
· Joy (Ting Ting) and Adrian on the swings telling us in English “to go higher!” and ‘faster!”
· Meeting beautiful Blossom for the first time.
- Little foot prints and hand prints left behind on JZ's t-shirt.
After the playground, our team started asking questions about the children they’ve interacted with; they wanted to know more about their conditions and prognosis. I could tell that their hearts were being taken in with each child; that God was opening their hearts to see and treasure all that He loves.
